Background and brief

Environmental Health Training and Consultancy (EHT&C) was set up as a commercial services arm of two councils, South Holland, in Lincolnshire, and Breckland in west Norfolk in 2017. The new commercial organisation delivers food, health and safety and licencing training courses in the classroom, onsite and online and consultancy for local businesses. EHT&C required a marketing agency to help them develop a strong, trusted, reliable and easily identifiable market leading brand to help them meet their sales objectives. The brief required the agency to: carry out market and competitor research; analyse the business, its current branding and website; produce a marketing strategy and action plan to meet the objectives; produce initial marketing materials and content (social media, blogs, photography etc) and schedule in 12 months of marketing activity, online advertising and social media content.

Results
EHT&C has been provided with a robust sales and marketing strategy, a suite of marketing materials and a plan of how and when to use them, to meet their objectives.
The work
Communicate successfully pitched for the work and produced all of the work listed above, over 4 months. In addition, the current branding was replaced with a new, cleaner and more modern identity and new brand guidelines for use in all marketing materials. New literature was produced, incorporating the new branding and the website analysis has been used to plan for a new, responsive website, due to be complete in 2018. A full handover of the project was delivered to the client, including social media training.

What the client said
“Communicate Marketing were a pleasure to work with. They have a highly professional and committed team who wanted to do the best job possible for us. They listened and responded with a personal touch and were entirely flexible to deliver top quality results. They engaged well with staff and worked hard to deliver us a marketing strategy, modern and strong brand, which included a strong social media presence, campaigns and performance monitoring. If we have any future marketing needs I would not hesitate to use Communicate Marketing.”
